Harden's been a disaster so far.

It's going under the radar, but it seems like Kawhi has declined a lot. On his current production, he seems like a borderline all-star player now and no longer a superstar.

I am not smartest guy in the room but these trades are something else. It was clear from beginning that these trades doesnt work.

Westbrook to LAL
Harden to LAC

And LAC did it with knowing about Westbrook and LAL. Just WOW

Powell, K. Brown, Theis, Zubac, and Mann have been really playing their roles well in support of the stars. PJ Tucker being out of the rotation with Kobe Brown replacing him has been an underlying ingredient to the Clips recent strong rise.

Here's the thing, the Clippers are tremendous so far.

Harden+Kawhi+PG13 [No Westbrook] trio are Net +14.08.
The Westbrook+Kawhi+PG13 [No Harden] are Net +29.14 [Not a typo].
The Westbrook+Harden+PG13+Kawhi quad are Net -16.42.

I think they matchup with the Suns as well, with a stronger big 3 and then Westbrook being the next best player by a long shot.

Since I wrote this, Kawhi has seriously picked up his play. Computer-like efficiency lately.

since westbrook sacrificed and went to the bench... NO PLAYER in the NBA since that time period has a higher net rating than James Harden

Gotta at least give Harden credit for what the Clips and he have been doing lately. 35 pts and like 10 ast tonight on 100% ts. They will be a dangerous team in April if somewhat healthy(mainly Kawhi and James). Wouldn't even really shock me if they won the west(unless they beat a fully healthy Nuggets team).
