Josh Giddey vs Jalen Suggs
Which player would you rather have going forward? And who's better right now?

Re: Josh Giddey vs Jalen Suggs
jalen suggs and pretty easily
he's a far far better defender and shooter and while he might not be as good an on ball playmaker or passer
i just don't think giddey is good enough to be relied on for either of those tasks at a high level
and when he doesn't have the ball he's not really spacing the floor at all cause he's a horrible shooter
so i think there are more teams where i'd put suggs at the 2 than giddey at the 2
infact i think it's by far most teams which where suggs would be better
hell i think OKC would get a lot better swapping giddey for suggs
giddey simply isn't a good enough on ball playmaker for it to be viable and he can't space the floor at all and is a liability on defense

Offensively, Giddy is more explosive, Suggs more consistent. Giddy took a small step back this year while Suggs made a giant leap forward in his efficiency and pretty clearly has more offensive value this year. Defensively, I haven't watched enough of them this year to really judge but certainly the rep and buzz favors Suggs as well.

Suggs seems more likely to fit on a good team than Giddey but I just think Giddey is a better basketball player and I’d still bet on that at this point

What specifically is he better at? Suggs is pretty clearly a better shooter and (by rep) a better defender.

Re: Josh Giddey vs Jalen Suggs
Giddey has had a down year after a reasonably impressive Soph campaign. Pretty apparent to me that he no longer has a really solid role in the OKC rotation, especially given SGA's incremental improvement as a playmaker. There's been a decline in his driving and mid-range floaters and much more of a reliance upon his wobbly jumper. His D has been... uh... yeah.
Suggs OTOH is a better defender and a better shooter on a considerably worse team. More limited, but a lot better within those limitations and a lot more portable.
Whilst there's a chance Giddey could rebound (and a smaller chance that he could claw back a substantial role in OKC) think Suggs is the better value bet moving forward in the league .
