CP3/Wade/Dwight (Now) or Kidd/Iverson/Shaq (Primes)

Which trio would you rather have to start a team?

Prime CP3 vs Prime Kidd is close, with maybe a slight edge to Paul. Prime Wade >>> Iverson and Prime Shaq >>> Dwight, so it really comes down to what you value more, the better shooting guard or the better center.

Well, since center is the more important position... this has to be Kidd/Iverson/Shaq.

^^ The OP said CP3/Wade/Dwight NOW. Not their primes. I don't know about Wade since he's a bit older (don't think he's considered to be in his prime yet) but I don't think we've seen CP3 or Dwight in their primes yet.

I think a prime Kidd is better than the current CP3. Wade right now is great but you cant overlook a prime iIerson, he could score on anybody.I think a prime Shaq>>>>>>>>>current D12. So that last comparison is the reason i choose the second group.

The first group, because of Iverson. He's about himself, not winning. Also very hard to see how his game blends with Kidd.

Man people are shortchanging Shaq these days.

Everyone in that 2nd group led teams to the finals as well.

At 27, Wade is clearly in his prime right now. Anyway prime Shaq gives the latter trio the edge.

if Kobe is considered a Shaq stopper here, then Iverson could basically make Shaq look worse than Dwight. and prime Kidd is NOTHING like Chris Paul :lol:

Shaq's group, easily.
