There may or may not be a time at some point in the future where this comparison is remotely close, today is not that time. It's Jennings, very easily.

Which is kind of odd considering that was a concern about him. That he didn't play like he was driven and tended to just melt into the offense.

Oh and please, stop mentioning Jennings and Marburys name in the same sentence.

I would take both Jennings and Derozan over Marbury.

I'd take Jennings now but would have drafted DeRozan.

Yeah that was the main reason why I was opposed to drafting him but I think it was just him not being comfortable enough yet and not wanting to step on anyone's shoes.

I would have taken Derozan at the time by a little, and 10 or so games really isn't enough to change my mind, and what they do right now really doesn't mean much, because they would both be a bust to me if they never got any better.

20/5/5 on good to great percentages from #10 = BUST?

I have been impressed with Jennings and haven't really had much of an opportunity to see Derozan play much, so it is a homer pick, but I am going with Jennings.

Right now its clearly Jennings but DeRozan is raw- he's a project so we'll see what happens but I think its likely that Jennings remains better than him.

21/5/4 as a rookie PG, leading a team devoid of talent to a respectable record- thats better than Derrick Rose

I know there wasn't much competition to begin with, but Jennings just scored more points in one game than DeMar's this season.

I don't consider a guy's draft stock to make him a bust or not, because I considered both to be much more talented than guys drafted above them.

I'm not sure he'd finish the season on 20/5/5, even after that 55 point monstrosity.

Jennings looks like the pick of the draft right now though, then again, I'm not a big Griffin guy.

yeah I don't see Derozan at his top potential to be better than Jennings in his first few years. After that Jennings should be beasting.
