Curry obviously, to answer your question.

Any knowledgeable person would know that rookie Nash wasn't very good and was a bench player. Curry is killing it dropping 30+ in games already.

Not a good topic, bro.

Nash sucked as a rookie, so Curry.

Nash's career path is so unlike any other player and will most likely look really bad when compairing his early years to just about anyone(especially his 1st year as a starter). But he entered his peak at an age where most players leave theirs.

Nash wasn't a starting PG as a rookie he was behind Kevin Johnson and Jason Kidd.

It doesn't seem like he's talking about rookie Nash, but Nash in his first year as a starter.

Indeed, Nash's first year as a starter was his 3rd year in the NBA, 98/99. He still sucked then though, rookie Curry is way better. But Nash had one of the most unusual career path's you will ever find, when he signed with Phoenix he was about 30 years old and had made 2 borderline all star games, and not a single all NBA 1st or 2nd team. 2 seasons later he was a 2 time MVP. I feel very confident there's no player who's ever shown as little as Nash up till the age of 30 who went on to win 1 MVP, never mind 2.

Curry has been outstanding as of late. He is showing the critics that he can indeed be a PG. Too bad he's on the Warriors.

You could make the exact same thread about Kirk Hinrich vs Steve Nash.

Curry's season is very encouraging, and hey, maybe he'll end up way better than Nash - but it's silly to say that because he's better than young Nash it's at all indicative that he will stay ahead of Nash's curve.

I thought Curry was just a shooter, but I was highly impressed with his playmaking ability last night. I have doubts about his defense and the lack of stature/strength, but otherwise he is going to be a damn good player for a long, long time. You can tell he's one of those guys who not only works his ass off, but clearly understands the game.

Really dumb to compare someone to early career Steve Nash. It's like comparing a 6'5 post player to Barkley or a 6'7 white guy that can hit outside shots to Larry Bird. Steve Nash had an extremely rare evolution in his basketball skills that does not compare to any other player ever. It's unlikely Curry's career will be remotely similar.

That said, I do like the Curry/Nash comparison. The reason is that they are both lights out shooters with great passing ability, but have limited athleticism and defensive potential. Whatever Nash did in his first few years is pretty irrelevant though.

I see alot of Nash in him. His court vision is amazing and his shooting is out of this world. It took him a minute to adjust though at the beginning of the season.

He's one my fav 5 players
