My analysis from this:

Hawks were top-5 in rim attempts and bottom five in converting them for buckets (among the 20 post season teams).

Just atrocious.
  • Part of this is Capela's decline,
  • part of this is Okongwu's injuries
  • and part of it is losing Collins (an elite rim runner) and never fully replacing him.

The Rest:

DWin - 47.1% *6 Games (8-17 3s)

This IS PHENOMENAL!!! Thanks for posting.

The success rate on these definitely related to Quin's scheme, the player development of Korver and Igor, the play making of both Trae and Dejounte.

3-pt shooting improvements = more wins? Is that why Indiana could have such an awful defense all season and still make a top-6 seed?
