Goodbye Jeff Teague. We just drafted Schroeder.
My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.

Wow we didn't keep 18. That would've been karasev and a great draft for us. I still like this draft, but we should've kept the 18 and took karasev..

Dieng or Karasev is good. But if we are building for the future...Karasev.

Dieng has a lower level ceiling and is ready to play today at 24.

If we're expecting to contend this season...Dieng.

Or anyone except Miles Plumlee.

I'm confused...are we stashing these guys and spending all our money in Free Agency.

Bebe clearly is not ready to contribute, but Dennis seems ready to come in and learn from Coach Bud.

Not a Bebe fan...and really bummed we missed out on Giannis by one pick.

Why the heck did we trade up by one spot to take Bebe...anyone know what we gave up to get to #16?

For the record...I LOVE the Schroeder pick. Not so much the Bebe pick.

Are we sure we have the Bebe pick?

Two point guards picked back to back. i think Shane Larkin is on his way out.

I heard that Lucas Nogueira is going to be moved to Atlanta

If that is the case, then Lucas Nogueira, and Dennis Schroeder are the Hawks' pick. that is two international players that Ferry can stash.

that sends a very very clear message.... WE ARE GOING AFTER HOWARD AND PAUL

i'm glad the Hawks didn't get Sergey Karasev, he is a horrible defender and San Antonio DO NO DRAFT POOR DEFENDERS.

If we traded 18 to get 16, I'll be very curious to find out why. What did we give up?

You guys are going to be surprised when we don't land Paul and Howard. We're simply going to rebuild and play some young guys.

YES. CNNSI reporting he's definitely being stashed for awhile overseas.

Not a fan of the Bebe pick. It will literally be years before we get to see what he brings.

Ferry's 4 draftees to date:

Jenkins and Mike Scott, a couple of productive Seniors with a low ceiling ready to produce today.

Schroeder and Bebe, a couple of Euro's years away from being contributors.

Is the second round tonight...any predictions there?

Looks like the deal was Hawks trade #18 and #44 for #16 (Nogueira) and Jared Cunningham.
