Anyone have any thoughts on the players outside the top-3 of this draft class?

I hear Nate Ament has some serious shooting chops as a 6'10" wing.
And that J Quaintance projects to be a defensive monster at the C/PF position...eventually.
Mikel Brown is a better shooting Trae Young.

Anything else?

Prospect to consider with our own pick...or in the 2nd round?

Pelicans watch...

0-2

Zion is bi-polar, but he is looking fit right now.

It's becoming just how clear that 2024 draft class really is.

The big 3 look pretty dominant already in CBB.

Ament and Brown are my realistic targets if the pick falls outside of the top 3. Ament should give ZR tough comp for minutes at sf day one.

Brown is nice, nice enough to supersede Trae at some point. Me personally I can't lock in until that pick officially conveys.

I'm watching Nate Ament very closely this season.

He's the consolation prize outside of the top-3. But he's built like Zacch Risacher with scoring prowess somewhere between MPJ and Jason Tatum.

It's uncanny how this dude moves, looks, operates nearly identical to ZR... In context to the Duke game, the Vols roster is not equipped to compliment Ament vs all those NBA prospects at Duke. Ament is the man day one and coaches can just gameplan to neutralize him.

He didn't look fluid as I'd hope. If he turns out to be a better ZR, I'd rather just go in a different direction. Just like his counterpart, he needs tons of physical development.

Zion is out again due to a non-contact injury. New Orleans' best player becomes Jordan Poole. Hopefully loosing starts to set in and with no vet leadership players will start to check out early.
