A top tier pick or very good prospect. Nothing less for Teague or Dennis

If you trade DS then you are setting yourself up to be without ANY PG in 2017. That would be all time dumb.
Not if you see what I see and see Dennis is never going to be a starter on a contender. He has no vision but thinks he does. That is the worse combination to have in a point guard. He simply isn't a good point guard and will always be exposed in the playoffs when you can scout him and see how predictable he is. He has improved as a scorer.
I said this before and will say it again, players don't gain playmaking vision. It literally never happens.
I find it odd that you think playing against the other teams BEST players will make him better than playing against backups though. We are close to seeing why Schroder is basically Eric Bledsoe. Your backups can't stop him because he is better than all of them. But he isn't going your lead your team to anything special as a starter.

Then Dennis is going to have to be the chip you move then. Teague doesn't have that kind of value to other teams because they can just wait a year and sign him, unless a team would like to move a "very good prospect". We might as well cancel getting any top tier picks as well. Sacramento might be the highest pick we could get for Teague and that;s if they think they can compete with him added.

Jeff hold great value because he can be extended due to his bird rights. You guys gotta know the cap and the CBA before you speak on player's value. Sacramento pick is not enough for Teague. Not even close.

If i'm getting Bledsoe out of Dennis, then I will take it and run. Bledsoe when healthy, is as good if not better PG than Teague is.

Dennis has great court vision, it's decision making and consistency which is his issue. I think he can become more consistent with development but the decision making is what I worry about.

I am telling you right now, we gonna hold to both players if the deal isn't just. Wack draft picks in a weak draft isn't going to get Atlanta to trade either player.

Re: Are Hawks Better with Dennis at PG?
Jeff has prime value.
A. A top 10 PG who is entering his prime.
B. On a Great deal. 8 million.
C. Your only chance to get a very good PG since free agency will be weak at PG this year and you are unlikely to get one in 2017.
D. If you have cap room, he can be extended on the 2016-17 cap which is valuable to a lot of teams right now.

That makes absolutely zero amount of sense though. We hold his bird rights, but what's stopping him from signing anywhere he wants?? Having his bird rights is only a positive for us. Not anyone else. We can give him an extra year, but it's not like Teague is a top 5 PG right now. Add in that we have Dennis, and who's to say we even want to bring him back?!?!
To then go on and say the #7 pick in this draft is not worth Teague is just asinine. You're basically saying a team should be willing to trade Hield, Simmons, or Ingram for Teague, and that's not going to happen. Milwaukee and Utah wouldn't even give us Rodney Hood or Middleton. what makes you think we can get a top 3 pick for him??

The difference between me and you is you are telling me what you want. I am telling you what we are going to do.
Teague or Dennis won't be going no where without you trading a top 3 pick or major assets. It's not happen or they are holding on to each player and waiting till free agency to make a move if they make one at all.

Re: Are Hawks Better with Dennis at PG?
The Hawks know the value they want. For Teague, it's a lot. For Dennis, same. They wanted Rodney Hood and their #1 for Teague. They wanted Middleton or Parker for Teague. The Hawks made it clear. They want a lot for our assets.
You should too. You see how good Mack is for Utah. You want Jeff to go elsewhere and we are stuck with bull in Atlanta.
I guess that is what you want. Nonsense. Get outta here

Okay, we may not move either, but it won't be because we can't get a top 3 pick or major asset. It will be because nobody else wants to give up that kind of value for something they can get a lot cheaper. Do you realize Dennis didn't go to Philly because of uncertainty with Ish freakin Smith?? If Philly was even dumb enough to give us a top 2 protected pick, I think Dennis bags would have been packed a long time ago.

And as you can see, we have neither Middleton nor Hood. So what's the problem?? Teague has so much value, but we can't even get Middleton or Hood.

That's not true. That is the Philadelphia Inquirer who has been known to make up rumors in Philly's prospective over the years.
The days of teams making trades just to make trades are done and over with. Everyone is seeking fair value. Everyone. Look at the trade over the last three seasons. Look at them. It's far and few and teams aren't getting raped like they used to in the 90s and 2000s.

That was not my point. My point was the value that they are seeking for their talent.

Jamalliver be ready to dig these kind of threads from the graveyard if we ever move Teague or Dennis for a major asset. I will gladly eat crow.

Probably. Waited too long to trade him, now we'll get nothing. It's Josh Smith all over agin, and it'll probably happen again with Millsap.
