ok. but West is a PF. Hibbert is 7'2" 270.

If Horford plays Center, he'd have to guard Roy Hibbert, or Noah, or Tyson Chandler, or Brook Lopez.

Also, Horford has led us in rebs since he got here, and is usually in the top 10 or 15 in the league.
Yet our team is regularly outrebounded by other bigger frontcourts.

It happened 5 times in our 6 game series against Indy's much larger frontcourt.

We've had an undersized frontcourt for years. Look at what a larger (less talented?) frontcourt like Memphis was able to pull off with a large Center and a All Star PF. That's what I'd like to see: Other teams scrambling to match our size, us dominating the offensive boards, a center capable of blocking shots and dominating the paint, while AL abuses tiny PFs.

(Remember how he threw around Larry Sanders in MIL for the game winning bucket. Imagine him doing that every night.)

Also, it's worth noting that the 'robotic', 'wimpy' Horford avg (slightly) more points, rebounds, blks, assists, and steals on a higher FG% with a higher PER.

Though, it's worth noting I'd love to get West in a Hawks uni!!!!

Pacers fan here, just want to say that this was a hard fought series and congrats on the season. It must have been tough, what with the injuries to Zaza and Lou Williams, all the free agency/trade deadline buzz and whatnot.

I've always had a soft spot for the Hawks, plus I LOVE the city of Atlanta. Side question: is El Toro still around in Atlanta? I ate there probably about 15 years ago and it was probably the best Mexican food I've ever had. Anyway, I know there is a lot of questions to be answered with all the expiring free agents, but I really hope that you guys can remain a threat when the dust settles this summer.

I realized 1 thing at the game on friday, Josh Smith, and i think Jammaliver hit on it many times this year, his best attribute is his athleticism.

And friday, he showcased the decline of that athleticism. It was like a bolt of lightning, Paul george comes down and straight crosses Josh up for an easy 2. Few minutes later, josh fumbles an easy pass for a dunk out of bounds. has 3 BAD turnovers in the first half.

Josh this was your curtain call and , im just ready to move on. Wish him the best, but not on this team. If they resign him, I will have zero confidence in Danny Ferry moving forward.
