What's Josh Smith's Best Position

Post#1 » by maljanNBAfan » Wed Nov 14, 2012 6:15 pm

So far this season Josh Smith has mostly split his time at Small Forward and Power Forward. Given the positional revolution the league could possibly be passing through right now, where does everybody think an amazing athlete like Josh Smith should play? I wrote my thoughts about it here: http://soaringdownsouth.com/2012/11/14/ ... al-battle/

Read the article this morning off cnnsi. Great job, btw!

I Think he's best at PF, he just needs a big center. An undersized PF next to an undersized Center is not ideal.

But he'd look awful good next to a scoring Center like Brook Lopez. Smoove provides interior defense and rebounding. Brook provides post scoring.

Appreciate the compliment, and I'm really glad you liked it. Totally agree he'd best be suited next to a dominant low post defender, which is why I can see him being moved to the Rockets or Lakers this season.

I wonder if LAL is making a strong push for josh smith because there not 100% sure the dh is going to stick around.

They want him to stay around by getting his best friend in the nba to stay with them. Our team has like 3 of his friends on it
