with the long slump he has been on, i don't think that much.

it wouldn't be horrible either to trade Teague for a pick or let him walk, and then maybe just re-sign Harris cheap and let Louis and Harris take care of the PG duties.

letting Teague walk would also give Ferry the cap space to go after both Dwight and Chris Paul, and Ferry already stated that he plans to go after two super stars this summer.

Is Teague in a slump?

He's avg 13points 6 assists for the season.
He's avg 13points 6 assists for the month of January.
He's avg 15points 7 assists for the last 5 games.

Jeff's a solid young PG who's been uneven. I'd imagine between 8-10 million per year. He's still green with room for improvement.

Teague is going to be resigned for the Hawks. No way we let him walk. This team is as good as Teague can be. I don't see us getting a PG half as good a Teague. Harris is old and Lou is not a PG.

I'm going to go ahead and say most Hawks fans will disagree with tcorbin's assessment of Teague... or anything tcorbin will say.

i wouldn't mind doing a Lowry for Teague trade, i have been a fan of Jeff since Wake.

i think the Hawks have a shot at Dwight, but their is no way CP3 is leaving the Clippers, LA is a better market than Atlanta and the Clippers have a good thinking going for now. CP3 is a smart guy, i don't see him making a dumb move like leaving a good Clippers team for an organization like the Hawks

In no way is Teague in a slump (sure the Raps game wasn't a good one for him but it was just one of those nights) on the pregame show they just showed that he's averaging 8.2 assists over the last 8 games which is awesome! I agree that he'll get around 8-10 million and that we won't have to match any contracts as I believe that Ferry will go ahead and sign him early to get that out of the way.

If the hawks sign Teague I believe it will be a 5 year 35 to 40 mil deal. The same deal they gave Marvin Williams. Teague will probably want 10mil a year. But he deserve 7 to 8 mil a year.
