Pistons have won 4 in a row and are undefeated since Josh Smith was let go. That's a season-best win streak and ties the longest for their franchise since they signed Josh Smith in 2013.
It breaks my heart it took us so long to figure it out. But at least DET managed to see the truth after only a few months:
Despite his talents and production, it's simply of greater benefit to proceed WITHOUT such an inefficient, inconsistent player.
Will be interesting to see how HOU proceeds this season with him at the helm. Smoove seems to be on his best behavior and playing to his strengths.
It's worth noting that HOU is now 1-3 since his addition to the starting lineup...while Smoove is shooting 35% from the Field and a wretched 13% from 3-pt range.
Houston fans are already asking that he be benched...
