Paul Millsap Resigns With Hawks

Paul Millsap has agreed upon a three-year deal with the Atlanta Hawks worth more than $58 million, sources tell RealGM.

Millsap gets a player option for Year 3 of the deal.

Millsap also received a four-year, $80 million offer from the Orlando Magic.

All I can say is, WOW that is a lot of money. It's almost $20 million per year. Good to have Millsap back.

I'm happy to see him stay. That's not too bad given what other players who produce about the same are getting. This is in essence a 2 year deal as he will most likely opt out after the second year at the age of 32 in order to get one last good deal. Now, can we afford a guy like T. Harris? Boy, if we could get him that would be an A+ offseason.

Good! Post depth. We were exposed severely by the Cavs in the Conference Finals. Keeping Sap while adding Splitter to the rotation can only help.
