As a courtesy, I hope we offer Saddiq a QO so he has a place to rehab with the team next season. But long term, it's probably best we part ways with the dude.

I really hate this injury happened to him...especially in a contract year. I also hate that we gave up 5 2nd round picks for the guy and then changed coaches directly afterwards.

(What was Landry thinking?!?)

The Bey issue is that he was asked to fill a starting role when first JJ, then Hunter went down with injuries. A role he is not best suited for.
His December and January shooting percentages from 3 were abysmal. Add to that his awful defense.
Vit is filling his role at SF and you can see the defensive difference.
His QO is $6.4 million. For a penny pinching team and a team looking at the LT - who knows.

Bogdan Bogdan looked rejuvenated this season. If we were ever going to trade him, this is the summer to do it.

And if we're keeping him, GREAT!! I'd like to promote him to starter next season.

Start building around these two...regardless of who the PG is.

I knew we were in trouble at the start of the season when Landry said we added Wes and Kobe as our offseason acquistion...but still, not what I expected.

We had Usman Garuba, a defensive Forward, on the roster last Fall. And then sent him packing for a 3rd string PG who didn't play.

We literally lacked Forward depth and defensive players all season long.

He would have been incredibly useful for us this season...

That Buzelis/Ware combo in the draft would be a nice addition to these 2 in the frontcourt. Could mix and match in a lot of different ways.

A pretty important aspect of our scoring offense was missing last season:
