Agreed. Which makes me think it must be a really attractive package to move away from a young man who was considered a core, untouchable piece 6 months ago.

I expect some combination of
  • Herb Jones,
  • Dyson Daniels,
  • Trey Murphy III,
  • Jordan Hawkins,
  • Jonas Valanciunas,
  • Draft Picks.

Who knows what the team is doing anymore.

It is probably Dyson and Murphy for those two. Doubt the Pelican trade Jones.

After looking over some Pelicans sites....
They don't want Murray
They will take Okongwu but only for Naji and a 1st.

This doesn't feel right at all. Giving up the better players on great value contracts.

I think we all might immediately fall in love with Trey Murphy III.

He is a Klay klone, for realz...but has struggled to return from injury this season.

Probably a combination of us wanting a lot for Murray and them wanting Okongwu and us not wanting to move him.

Adding Trey Murphy, Herb Jones and a bunch of draft picks would have been a really enticing return for DeJounte...losing Okongwu would have been tough, tho.

Keeping a player after months of trade rumors is what our front office does. Look how poorly they handled the John Collins trade.

We'll be back at it in the offseason. It's what we do.

I hate that you're right.
It's a cycle with this team.
