Landry man :nonono: .

Just say no interest in trading Trae.
Just say we see the numbers for Trae/DJ and working hard along with coach to change it.

I hate him and you can quote me on that. Nothing worse than an over confident incompetant that was given the job without any merit being so full of himself while he does nothing

Focusing on adding size needed to occur after Milwaukee manhandled us in the ECF. That series feels like it was so long ago. Now, Wemby, and a big man shift has occurred.

I really don't see many positives with Landry.

I know there's a ton of anger that Landry didn't make a move at the deadline. But I would have lost more faith had he forced another bad trade...like moving Okongwu on a value contract when he's finally ready for a major breakout.

I did not want or expect a big trade, and if we weren't we needed to at least upgrade the bench, since we aren't playing the young guys on the roster.
Last 2 1st round picks (AJ and Kobe) - not contributing
Last 2 2nd round picks (Lundy and Gueye) - not contributing.

The AJ complaint is a valid one. I'm fairly angry and perplexed as a fan...trying to trust Quin on it.

But expecting much out of Lundy, Gueye or Kobe this early is a bit unrealistic considering we have a solid 8-man rotation of vets covering all 5 positions pretty well.

My biggest issues:
  • the amount of leaks out of this front office is ridiculous.
  • Having essentially our entire roster on the bubble as potential trade bait wrecked our season more than anything else.

Capela and DeJounte are real pros, but making them available for trades, publicly, for 3 straight months is an untenable position to be in. It's bad business to have respected veterans dangling in uncertainty for 60% of the season with no real resolution until the very last second.

Same. I find it hard to believe that they couldn't move Mills for a more useful player on an expiring deal. It didn't need to be someone amazing, just someone who can play some minutes at the bigger wing spot when guys inevitably miss a game or two.

Landry can't preach constantly about development when Snyder is giving FAR too many minutes to guys who are neither young nor good. He can't talk about the "long-term" when they have no wiggle room under the luxury tax next year and will have to dump a rotation player for nothing.

I've lived through a number of terrible versions of Hawks' mismanagement, but this one might be the worst because they constantly treat the fans like idiots.

I disagree we can't get anything from our Rookies. Look around the league and see the myriad of Rookies contributing in some fashion. The last pick in the draft has played more minutes that our #16 pick. Particularly when you consider the injuries and missed games from the top 8 rotation players there were minutes available for them.

Agreed
The continued 'Open for Business' is just bad and puts them at a negotiating disadvantage and it's not a good for our players.
