We shall see what happens with Utah, I don't know with Trae the pace is too fast and they'll allow 125 plus or not.
Where the offseason has more buzz happens.

Of course, but offense is our issue anytime Trae is out, not defense.

What if Trae Young never comes back?

Can we become an elite defense without him here?

It's possible. Not with this current core but with some changes, sure.

Any cheap players available in trade or free agency that might help the defense this summer?

One of my concerns is that the team might spend too much draft capital on defensive role players this summer instead of drafting BPA.

Considering how far we appear to be from contention (and considering we don't have 1st rounders 2 of the next 3 years), that would be a short sighted decision.

I gotta check, I'll get back to you on that. Since Bey become our starting 3, it's made our backup 4 a massive issue.

Yes, replace CC with a modern defensive big that can shoot.

Are we no longer convinced Okongwu can fill that role?

I rate OO just under JJ as untouchable. However, he can be somewhat injury and foul prone so another skilled big is vital. Always keep a near elite defensive big on the floor with how the backcourt is constructed.

I wish Quin would do this more when Trae is available.

I hate seeing him close games on the court for defensive possessions.
