JT missed one FT in OT.

So saying "missing free-throws" is not accurate.

You can’t ignore how trash he has been in the clutch. He’s not improving, he’s getting worse

I will agree with you if this still happens in the playoffs.

More than 30 years of watching the NBA and I've seen so many players rise to the occasion in the playoffs and finals.

So let's wait and see.

It won't be long anyway as it's just a few weeks away.

We were up with 6 seconds to go because of a Joe designed play lol

What game are you watching? We have FIVE all-star level players and we can barely get a clean shot off in crunch time against a scrub team. I've lost track of how many times this has happened this season and the JB shot... That was not a good look and we got insanely lucky that fell

100% Joe literally has 2 possession to win the game and ran absolutely nothing both times. JB last game 23 dribble zero pass possession in the biggest play of the game..no timeout

There was a missed free throw in the first half, where he caught the ball with his arms up, and all he had to do was drop it in the bucket. He decides to flip it up high of the glass and misses. He can nearly dunk flat footed. I don't get what he was trying to do there.

LOL. If you think that play was designed by Joe, i've got a bridge to sell you. The play was designed for KP to shoot but Hawks defense stopped the play.

The mere fact that Joe designed a play for KP to win the game shows that the narrative about Joe is wrong.

There's 0 chance the play was designed for KP to post up a big like it's the 90s. It was 100% set up to use KP and Tatum as decoys to free up Jaylen in his spot.

But it wasn't the iso play that everyone kept saying would happen, right?

The point is Joe made a change and it resulted in JB making a potential game winning shot.

Simply put, the play worked!

Majority of the folks here kept saying what matters most is what happens in the playoffs.

Right now it's premature to conclude that because this happened in the regular season, it will also happen in the playoffs.

Last season some of the doubters were silent when Joe kept calling a timeout in the playoffs.

I don't think the Cs are showing all their cards yet.

Once again, waaaay too much iso and lack of ball movement late. It doesn't matter if some of them go in vs a sorry ass Hawks team in March, it's bad basketball that you are much less likely to get away with against real teams in the real games.

That whole Ime thing hurt us bad. Forced to give Joe the job, and did well enough where we had to keep him. Hope it doesn't hurt us again.

Fair take. I've been saying all along to bring on the playoffs.

why would I eat my words??? Brad gave this team 5 All star level players. Brad built the fastest Car in NASCAR.. so maybe even the worst Driver may still possible win it.. If he doesn't crash..

We have one.

He's just not at his full potential yet.

Lebron, Steph, and even MJ didn't get their first ring until they were 27 years old.

Check back in a few weeks because maybe our #1 will surprise you.

Hard to reasonably argue he will improve in the POs against better teams and defenses in the exact same situation. Tatum is a great frontrunner when things are going well, and he's had his moments in tight games like game 6 in Philly. But overall he really struggles in these tight situations because he takes insanely hard shots even the best shot makers would struggle to make, and Tatum isn't an elite shot maker. It's a recipe for disaster. Brown is a lot better option if you're going to iso in those situations with zero ball movement.

Playoff teams know that you just need to play physical against the Celtics and they will fold. I can't recall any game this season where the Celtics stood up to bullying and physical play from other teams. When their shots go in, they're tough to beat because they're just too talented, but on games like these where their shots aren't falling, play them physical, and they fold.
