I doubt he'd do that. He'll probably take the rest of the year off, maybe do some TV or something, and then try for another HC job in the offseason. He was doing a good job before that franchise turned in to a circus.

Would that mean no Morris trade?

The Suns have been a circus since...they dumped Joe Johnson. Selling #1 picks (except to us - Ainge could only trade a future pick for Rondo, which they turned around and sold to someone else), and the piece de resistance, Feb 2004:
Phoenix traded Tom Gugliotta, 2004 #1 (Kirk Snyder), 2010 #1 (Gordon Hayward), and a #2 (Alex Acker) for Keon Clark and Ben Handlogten. Gave up two #1 picks to erase Googs' salary in case there was a luxury tax that year (spoiler alert: there wasn't.)
They also traded Luol Deng to the Bulls for the next year's pick, I believe for the same reason, dropping 12 spots in the process.

Couple that with their 3 PG nucleus experiments - they've been a joke since they undermined the Nash/D'Antoni era by valuing minor cash considerations over contending for a title.

Why even buy a team if you're going to be so cheap as to sell friggin #1 picks?
