Yeah I've got to be honest I can't stand paying attention to divisions unless we are in the middle of a playoff race they are pretty pointless IMO. I'm not saying they should get rid of them but they just seem arbitrary and pointless to me.

One prediction I will make that I think people are sleeping on:

Toronto will have a higher seed than Washington.

I feel like Washington is being assumed the third seed when they only won 44 games last year in one of the worst conferences ever. They should have some internal improvement from their young back court, but they have big injury risks at the forward spots in Nene, Pierce and Martell Webster.

Toronto won 48 games last year after starting out 6-12 before the Rudy Gay trade. So the team they are returning was significantly better than last year's Washington squad. The team didn't change much but they don't have any older guys that are declining, and could see improvements out of Ross/Valanciunas.

For me they are the third seed until shown otherwise.

Danny will not rely on free agency or cap space to rebuild. It's too risky for his taste. C's will be borderline playoffs with a 35 - 40 or so win season on tap..

Sully will outshine KO. Young and Smart will not play till after trade deadline. Bass, Green, Wallace basically all Celtics over 25 will be showcased for possible deal..and will see the lions share of minutes. Fans will gripe about our lack of uptempo play and how our coach doesn't play the young guys..

Thorton, Turner will be beside themselves with hate for the coach who is not playing them..in the first half.

Whoa - this paper's getting handed back with a pretty good grade on it, Pete!

Damn, no love for the Bucks ? Jason Kidd is a pretty damn good coach. They made the 6th seed and will be returning with a healthy Jabari Parker and the addition of Greg Monroe. They have a well balance lineup.

My predicition is

1. Cavs
2. Bulls
3. Bucks
4. Wizards
5. Raptors
6. Pacers
7. Miami
8. Celtics
