Hard pass. We'd be worse off than what Detroit is now. Just kill me now.

The only player in the league I would consider trading all three BKN picks, MEM pick, and Smart for is Anthony Davis, and even then, his injury issues scare me a bit.

That is one guaranteed top 3 pick, three other potential top 7 picks, and Smart who has first team all defense potential with a bit of offense. Let me ask you. Would you make that deal if you were us?

Avery as an optional throw in. Nice.

Does Drummond project to be any better than Deandre Jordan? I don't think his value is that high, but acknowledge I could just be low on the player.

Edit- just looked as his stats. I was wrong. Value seems right. I'd probably do it, but only if hack-a-Shaq is banned.

Okay i'm iffy..

I voted yes. --- But I wouldn't give up that package for him.

However, I would give up a package close to that. I'm not super high on Smart -- They can have him. I'd be fine with the offense pg in IT & the defensive pg in Rozier.

I'm taking out BK 2017. That's gonna be the big pick IMO. & If that's the deal breaker, then i"m taking out Mem's pick. Cause they're prob gonna rebuild & that's gonna be a sick pick (why i'll never violate jeffy, thanks brah <3).

They want 1? Fine. Both. Nope, FOH Stan. We'd have our center locked up for the next decade. in 33mpg, he got 16-15-1-2-2. Especially if that hack a shaq rule comes into place? It's a wrap. This dude is 22 years old lol. Just nuts.

Would I give up Smart - Bender - later first round picks, & Brooklyns pick 2 year from now when they can't get any worse for Drummond -- yes.

I would do this if we had some magic shot doctor who turned Drummond into a 75% FT shooter. However absent that this is selling the farm for a horse with three legs.

Piston fans are rejecting it by a 2-1 margin right now. I personally would do it as the Pistons and wouldn't do it from a Celtics perspective.

Most teams aren't going to be willing to give up a young star player for a collection of assets unless they're getting a clearly better value.

With that said, I don't blame Celtics fans one bit for not liking this trade, as what they are giving up is definitely of greater value than what they get back.

I don't think it's ridiculous to ask for this much for Drummond. But it would be ridiculous to pay this much.

He's worth a real lot though. The answer is a bit less than this.

6 picks (one high pick and two more potentially high ones) and a player for Drummond? I honestly don't know if this thread is a joke or not.

I'd have to take a little bit out. Smart or one of the Brooklyn picks. But beyond that, I'd do it.

And I'd give up that entire package for Anthony Davis and not even think about it. Injury issues or not. He's one of the top 5 guys in the league and he's signed for the next 5 years. No brainer. If the injuries get worse, then you gambled, but it was a more than worthy one.

Agreed with this. You absolutely do this package for Anthony Davis, no question.

If you take out the 2017 Brooklyn pick, I do the package for Drummond.
