Big Al Horford with another excuse as to why the Celtics are playing like crap. These excuses are getting fun.

Didn't see this one but nice to see in the box score they stayed true to their word and fed Horford more. On another note Detroit killed the Hawks by nearly 40 tonight, that team is white hot right now

Yikes.

A big that can feast in the paint, rebound and stretch the floor with a new found 3 point shot? I would take that here in a second. Out of interest how many big men do you have above him? AD,Towns and maybe a truly healthy Blake Griffin are the only ones I think of for me.

Well, the trade proposals that people have been saying are straight up crazy.

Guy is overrated, with a world-class bad attitude, and people would drop multiple top 5 pick-level assets for the dude. Nuts.

I'm glad they didn't call it but I definitely agree with you.

Yuhp. They made the right call today. But it's just disgusting how the decisions shift in favor of some players.

A win is a win, but the team looked pretty awful tonight outside of Horford and Crowder. Let's hope for better execution next time.

Maybe consider chilling with what amount to essentially personal attacks. It's something to consider.

Sorry if my post offended you brutha, wasn't directing it at you, not even sure you're in that group who thinks IT is best served as a 6th man but whatever. it is stupid though, take it how you want.

I would take Demarcus Cousins over anybody on the Celtics. That's how good he is. He becomes the Celtics best player the minute he steps on the court.

He is a top 10 talent in the NBA, and top 3 big men. Other than Karl Anthony Towns, and Anthony Davis, no one is better than him. Dermarcus Cousins to the Boston Celtics. Let's make it happen.

Nothing impressive about 28 points on 26 shots.

It's actually well below average efficiency.

Wake me up when a Celtic is putting up 34/12 48% shooting 47% from 3 over a 5 game stretch including tonight's terrible game..Nearly a 30 per this year.

I think people talk about getting Cousins because they feel like he's someone who might actually be available.

Not a lot of good bigs are available in trades.

Then there's the hope that he might become more efficient if he had some better team mates to work with. Not saying that would happen, but I can see why people might hope.

Right, but what is the trade offer?

Still learning to play with each other, Kings were doing some really tough things, working on the defense.

Pick one.

Al is pretty much playing as good as ever. I hate that excuse, such a cop out answer to not playing hard enough.

I wouldn't trade the world for him. My thinking is more of getting rid of Smart since he's a good guard that we might be able to package with a pick, to rebalance the roster. I don't usually get too into trade ideas, so I'm not sure what would be a fair deal really.

Furthermore, in regards to getting Demarcus Cousins you're going to give up some significant pieces or don't even bother calling the Kings. The trades proposals being proposed here are not unrealistic, at least some . For example.

Celtics would have to give up Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart and at least one Nets pick if not both.

Lakers Deangelo Russell, and one of Randle or Brandon Ingram.

Wolves: Wiggins, Dunn or Lavine. No team is getting Cousins without including at least two good young players, and 2 high picks. He is worth it too.

Good Point. Towns and Unibrow suck. Look at them racking up wins.

Demarcus fan: "Let's trade our picks and best players for DeMarcus Cousins!!"

Non-Demarcus fan: "No, he's not that good, and he's not made any of his teams any good, and he's a headcase. Just another stat collector, better at fantasy league than the real league."

Demarcus fan: "He's better than Amir!!"

Non-Demarcus fan: "So you're going to trade your best assets for a player that won't make the team any better after those assets are gone, because he's better than Amir?"

Demarcus fan: "ummmmm.......He's better than Zeller too!!!"

Non-Demarcus fan: "...Uh-huh..."
