People are now cooking all the worst case scenarios that have little chance to happen just to make this deal sound as bad as possible.

George will not be traded to Lakers now!
SAC has the worst record in 2019 they have 75% chance to lose the first pick.

Every odd is in our favor but people just like to be dramatic.

**** like this just pisses me off. If you want to say that the difference between Fultz and the other guys is close and the additional pick more than accounts for it, fine, but don't try to sell me on "We wouldn't have taken Fultz anyway".

**** off what that spin job.

Red traded the first overall pick for 3 championships and 2 hall of famers.

Danny has alot to live up to.

It's a media conference call. Not just Smitty 1-on-1 with Ainge.

You think so? Ha has to mean it or he wouldn't have traded out.

Can't agree with him at all here, Fultz was the obvious #1. If we were gonna take Tatum or Jackson above him then I have serious doubts about his talent scouting ability.

Gross trade with all the #1 pick protections, watch Philly somehow end up at #1 again...

Sounds like he wants to build off a player in this draft and not trade that pick.

I dont think it is spin.

Ainge don't give an F. He probably would have taken either Tatum or Jackson 1. I honestly believe that.
