NFL draft tomorrow what position do we want the pats to draft in the first round?

Corner or front seven I think has to be the target unless a tackle falls.

I know it’ll never happen but bill should consolidate his picks to try and get more in the top 100 not a great draft(supposedly) try and go for quality over quantity.

Moral: If you are going to take a player no one has heard of with your first round pick, make sure his last name isn't Strange.

I personally am excited that we can now root for Timelord….and Dr. Strange.

Every year the media reacts to every Patriot pick the same way. If he starts 16 games this year….it’s a good pick. The trade down was an excellent move given the average quality of players 20-100 in this draft.

Pats getting absolutely trashed by everyone for taking strange in the first round. Sean Mcvay and sneed laughed at the pick live on tv.

Evan lazar had a mini meltdown said he’s a 3rd or 4th round prospect.

He better be john Hanna.

Read up on the draft last night.
BB going rogue. Slinging picks left and right.
Brady's gone so maybe he's going for broke.
He needs to surround Jones with something ---- different.

Didn’t take a defensive lineman early like I wanted. Not a big fan of going guard in round 1 could’ve maybe gotten more value ther but strange will be a day 1 starter most likely.

The receiver kind of a reach also but at least he’s got elite speed. Tiny hands tho and smallest wrists in the draft which j didn’t know they measured lol.

That 3rd round corner I’m liking tho he was compared to Dante hall as a returner wow. Probably a slot corner tho.

That's funny. I didn't know that either. Damn they're thorough (they ignore what they want to right). I'd like to see at least one more BB-led title to even up with Brady. It'll be hard.

Pats draft reminds me of how Brad Stevens went overboard to get Derrick White. He targeted the guy he wanted and was willing to overreach to get him.

The Pats seemed to have a similar approach, they had their guys pegged. That's a departure from previous years for sure, where they tended to focus on value. Maybe it's the Matt Groh influence?

If all those guys work out to be contributors, then it'll be a win. We'll see. I honestly think the NFL draft is such a crapshoot that it's really difficult to pinpoint one strategy that is the best.

Peter King questioned the Patriots for taking an obscure OL at 29 even though in his mock draft he had the Pats taking an even more obscure OL at 21 (who eventually went 77th to Indy). I'm irrationally annoyed by this.

There are 22 starters on offense and defense in NFL and many are so different from each other. It’s not the NBA draft where you can just throw out your best 5 even if they are all wings. If Strange is good enough to start on day 1 for New England he was a great pick whether he was taken 21 or 77.

There have been times - way too often actually - where Patriots have taken players nobody has heard of in second round who never play at all. More often than not these have been defensive backs. Strange may have been a reach but everybody expects him to start. The Pats usually hit home runs with drafted offensive linemen. They needed and wanted Strange and maybe they didn’t have a close second. They must have figured it wasn’t worth the risk to let somebody else would take him if they waited.

How about Dugger, are you kidding.
Div II, 37th pick. BB is punking fans.
He just does it his way and that's it.
Hey let's draft that Marshall QB,
and get a Super Bowl receiver.
Let's bench a Suprr Bowl hero,
and lose a chance for another ring.
