Obviously Hindsight is 20-20, but D white would be the perfect player for SAS and Wemby and the team's development going forward. But maybe keeping D White stops SAS from obtaining a bad enough pick to get Wemby. But a win WIN trade for sure.

Wonder if he gets any votes for DPOY. I mean he has been really incredible for a while and I never hear anyone outside of Boston acknowledge him about his defense.

I think that's part (maybe not a huge part, but part) of the national narrative about him this season, and he made 2nd Team All Defense last season https://theathletic.com/4500033/2023/05/09/nba-all-defense-team/

If the All Defense team -- like All NBA -- goes positionless it might reduce the guards who make it, but either way I'd imagine he's right up there with Caruso, Brooks (ugh), and KCP to make 1st or 2nd Defensive team.
