He's gonna earn himself a lot of money. I just hope he's willing to take what we can offer him in order to stay.

We can pay him whatever if he waits for free agency I believe…I just hope Wyc’s approach is:

DWhite has a higher playoff career high in points as a Celtic than Kyrie Irving, Antoine Walker, Kevin Garnett, Kevin McHale, Robert Parish, Tommy Heinsohn, and Dave Cowens.

I just realized josh richardson is apparently on the heat now. Nobody talks about him when the heat crowd complain about injuries.

The pick swap could do better at some point. TBD.

According to https://www.basketball-reference.com/playoffs/NBA_2024_advanced.html the ranking of highest Win Shares per minute and VORP in these first round playoff series are as follows (minimum of 30 minutes a game):

WS/48
1. White .322
2. Jokic .318
3. Allen .290
4. Edwards .284
5. Towns .280
6. Davis .244
7. Wagner .237
8. Gobert .236
9. Tatum .228
10. Dort .222

VORP
1. Jokic .8
2. James .7
3. Embiid .6
4. Edwards .5
5. White .5
6. Harden .5
7. Davis .4
8. Maxey .4
9. Turner .4
10. Irving .4

Only Jokic, White and Edwards are top 5 in both categories. Based on this the three best playoff performers so far. Which coincides with the eyetest.

I reckon the Spurs and Nuggets will be going hard for him. Celtics will need to pony up.

Do the Nuggets have the cap room?

Philly might want to make a run at him.

Most of those guys, however, were more prolific rebounders.

If the Celtics keep White, that pick swap could easily expire unused, all Wembyana greatness notwithstanding.

Note that White and Jrue were both traded away by the teams that drafted them in support of tanking.

In both cases, the tanking part worked.

Philly just botched most things afterwards. The jury is of course still out on San Antonio.

Cue Tony Shiviaone’s “He’s the third man!” line with KP out.

I'm sure he really is a good guy, but this commercial is just corny to me. A whole commercial where you do good deeds in front of a camera and get praised for it is too much.
