We are playing the best brand of Hoops since 2010 (possibly 2008)

Joe has significantly improved with his rotations and usage of time outs and clutch time plays this season..

Granted bringing in Zinger and Jrue helps,

He is unafraid to fly the flag for the players, which no doubt the boys appereciate.

Juggling an arguably starting 5 all star calibre talented players with egos isn't as easy as it seems on paper, (Jrue being a selfless team oriented player keen on winning another ring does help)

I just cannot find any legit criticisms of 'Mazzle Dazzle' based on the body of work so far this season.

The diabolical Lakers home loss was all on the players who clearly phoned it in and underestimated their opponents.

They responded in the best possible way, 9 straight wins, and Joe deserves a lot of credit for that.

I also believe mentally we will be much more switched on this time come the playoffs.

And this season puts an end to that narrative that Joe only wants his players to shoot 3-point shots.

Just needs to accomplish that little pesky thing called an NBA championship like the rest of them (Tatum, Brown, Stevens, Horford).

If successful, it is immensely valuable and not dissimilar in approach to Golden State in some ways.

He has the players to coach that way, they're all smart veteran guys, spacing is off the charts, every starter can score at three levels at least a little.

Questions are what happens if he's coaching a less talented team, more younger players, or a different mix of talent. Can he reproduce it? Can he change his approach?

Why does that matter though?

In other words, he’s coaching his team in way that suits them and the team. Sounds like a good approach to me.

How Joe didn't win coach of the month does kind of boil my p*ss, but on the other hand, I have no doubt the players will take this insult personally and use it as extra motivation.

The Jays won Player of the Month and Week respectively though, so I don't think there is an anti Celtics agenda so much in that they wanted someone else from another team to bask in the limelight.

If we win over 60 games and Joe doesn't win coach of the year, then I riot.

CotY usually goes to coach of the team that exceeded expectations, not necessarily coach of the team with the best record (in our case by a significant margin). If I had to bet, OKC's Daigneault wins it. If Malone, Doc, or Lue get it, we riot.

This is going to be an absolute nightmare for some because Joe will most likely win Coach of the Year and Cs might get Banner 18 this year.

In my opinion, Ime was the better coach (for now) tactics and strategy wise (esp with clutch time out.useage) but Joe is clearly more better at placing trust and faith in his players, and trusting his/our bench more

Jaylen is playing better., more consistent and engaging type of hoops than at any point in his career.

Tatum is putting less superstar scoring numbers yes, but his defensive game and rebounding game is way up on the production on those ends he was giving us under Ime.

Derrick White has also evolved into a arguably an All Star/All NBA 3rd team player under Mazz.

Once Joe (and he will, make no mistake he will) tap into Jayson Tatum's psyche and ensure he runs the keys and car to our team, it's game over for the rest of the league, including Denver.

The improvement and development of Sam Hauser, Luke Kornet and Payton Pritchard in that time (and all season) is a stat line that is far more relevant and crucial to us than that.

Not as of any fellow contender have made any real inroads in our standings in the NBA (esp in the East)
