When it was just KP, the ring was not a sure thing, but with the addition of Jrue, let's just say the ring is very likely.

It would be a shame if he retires without a ring. Maybe last two chances this year and next.

Horford embracing his role as the Super 6th-Man, is really a boon for this Team.
Al is selfless, humble and a consummate professional. What's not to love?

He’ll hit his threes soon enough. That doesn’t just go away. In the meantime, he can still do this…

Build this man a statue already.

And Al is not finished.

We'll see more great things from Al in May and June.

Horford is 19-8 (70.4%) vs. Embiid since coming to the Celtics in 2016, playoffs included.

Blaming Al for the Sixers that year is the most Philly thing to do. #JusticeForAl

Rumors of his decline were greatly exaggerated - some started by me. Great to see prime time Al last night. As great as KP has been, we still aren’t sure how he’ll measure up as a defensive stopper in a series like we’ve had with Heat last 2 seasons. Having an all time great like Al who can still bring his A game when it matters is key to championship hopes.

Almost as good as the Thad Young club:

Horford has a good case on his NBA career alone (especially if he can win a title). With his two NCAA championships, I think he is a lock to get in.

I want him to win a ring and get in the HOF. I know those 2 things would make him so damn happy, which would make me very happy too.

BBref has Horford's chances at 22% and that's probably right. He's been a consistently good player and tad underrated based on his counting stats but at the end of the day you are looking at 5 AS games and 1 All-NBA. That's not a HoF resume.

The big thing he has going for him is his college career. If it was just the NBA HOF he doesn’t make it but if he wins a nba chip; that coupled with his college championships should give him a decent shot

I love Al and his return to Boston has been a game changer. However, the way Sengun is playing like the second coming of Jokic…..the trade may not look so good in a couple of years. His highlights for this season already are mind blowing.

If Cs get a ring with Al then worst case scenario is it's a fair trade.
