I bet if they also considered vertical distance in that 0-2 ft he’d lose half his attempts. :)

Is this something conscious that they're doing? Unlock more of KP's playmaking?

That might explain KP forcing a lot of passes and picking up turnovers. Learning experience.

He hasn't had more than 2 turnovers since before Christmas, until the 6 last night. Couple of offensive fouls but also careless passes.

Are we ever gonna be concerned about his 3-pt shooting?

That would be like questioning the perfect woman because she's a Taylor Swift fan.

It's crazy how mutually beneficial all 5 of the starters are. KP adds that extra element, but it's opened up by having the other 4 out there. You can't send help or you'll get killed when he kicks it to a wide open shooter or cutter. Don't send help and KP just turns and shoots over a dude that's 6-12" shorter than him.

It's really quite beautiful.

32.7% is not good but I suspect he'll bounce back. Shot 38.5% last season (although poorly the prior season until being traded to WAS).

Even though he’s not shooting great. The other team still respects him out there and that’s all you need really when he’s surrounded by 4 shooters.

UPDATE: He's shooting 44% from 3 in January and is now up to 35% on the season, just a hair below his career %.

Celtics are smart too, he almost never posts big guys, which helps him from getting as banged up.

He’s just a massive cheat code.

He's also frankly not that good at posting up big guys. I think he's being used at pretty much the optimal manner right now.

I need an official update from Celtics PR that they didn't have to amputate Porzingis' leg. Tell us now!

It sucks that we might not have him against the Clippers and Pelicans.

Porzingis making life easier for our MVP. Great quick swing of the ball by DWhite.
