KP has fit like a glove. I don't think the Cs will win banner 18 without him, so sit him as much as you like throughout the year Joe!

If this means the Celtics have the 4th best center on offense, then this is useful for the team.

I know it’s a balancing act but I like giving him the ball on the post >>>>> giving him the ball 26 feet from the hoop.

All of you who criticized Brad for this trade need to show yourself.

Yeah, had no idea how much KP was gonna change this team for the better.

Cs are surviving inefficient shooting nights from Tatum and Brown now because of KP (and White).

Porzingis seems to have little sense of timing on shotblock attempts, or else is too slow to benefit from such a sense. The same seems true of his rebounding. His numbers in those areas seem OK even so.

Nobody's perfect. :)

Sometimes it looks like he's playing against kindergarteners. He's just shooting everyone they switch on him. Doubling doesn't even bother him.

He doesn't get many blocks but is in 98 percentile in rim contests. Opponents also shoot way below their average against him around the rim. Not even counting guards/wings who think twice before they drive into the paint once they see him there.

He's never been an elite rebounder. That's where Tatum, Jrue, and others could help.

Brad Stevens is next Pat Riley. Elite at everything he does. Honestly, he might end up better than Riley.

Edit: You still need a better coach. Only reason Mazzulla has this job is loyalty. No disrespect to you guys :D

I’ll stake my claim to being first on the KP trail this past June. Even to the point of trading JB for him, which might have been a bit much lol.

31.8% on wide-open threes. Not just him. JB also just 31.6% on wide-open threes. Once those fall, good luck NBA!

Brad’s ability to find valuable players that have been forgotten about is next level. It’s something he does differently to Danny.

Reminds me of when we got Al the second time around and a lot of people were like really he still exists?

Porzingis had that weird season with Luka and then spent last season actually playing well on a team nobody watched.

His skillset is perfect for what the NBA is now and it’s crazy that there weren’t more suitors.

I don't know if that many people criticized this trade. We were getting the best player back in the trade. KP had a 23 and 8 season last year.

To be fair, there were some who didn't like Smart getting traded, but only a few didn't like KP coming to Boston.

Al, Zinger, and throw White in that category as well as he wasn't forgotten, but wasn't getting much notice in SA and is definitely worth way more than we paid for him. Jrue was an obvious one every team would want, but Brad has been really good at finding high end gems.
