My question is are we changing our mind on this player based on a small but seemingly impressive sample size? I must admit I was down on him early season not just because he was not making his outside shot (mainly baseline 3) but how Broken his shot appeared. I don't know if I am seeing things or not but his mechanics looks different and improved. He certainly is knocking some down. That allowed him to stay on the court and do what he does better, which is provide energy + Hustle.

Has he done enough to stay in any kind of regular season rotation consistently? Or will someone like Banton get a chance soon and Brisset gets relegated back to sitting??

** Side note, I love the energy of Brisset and Queta together.

Out west they have the "splash Brothers"

Our guys can be the "attack the Glass Brothers"

He looks like a solid rotation 3-D guy to me.

3&D, without the 3..

0.344 career…that’s good enough for a bench 3 and D guy, though he does more that just shoot 3s.

1) it's not good enough - imo, to call yourself "3&D" you gotta be shooting at least league average from 3 (36%)..so he's firmly below that mark

2) I wouldn't use his career number. His career number includes stats from 3-4 years ago, which is not very relevant to how he is shooting today. I'd prefer to look at recent performances for more relevance. This season so far he's at 32% (including tonight's game) and last season he was at 31%. And considering his shooting form is really ugly, looks painful - it's unlikely he will consistently be a league average shooter unless he makes some tweaks to his shot.

I like Brissett. He's done some good things for us. But I don't think it's accurate to call him a 3&D guy.

I made it 4.5 minutes, at which point it dawned on the content creator that if Oshea can just AVERAGE an amazing game, then he’ll be an all star because you won’t be able to deny his amazingness. #newsyoucanuse

Just saw that this thread was the reason that video blew up randomly. I'm the guy who made that video, and I appreciate that it was shared. But that's not at all what I was thinking. It was one of my first times making that style of video and I (clearly) didn't even write a script for it. I really just wanted to talk about how Oshae had been playing very well and had great potential. I'm sorry you didn't like it, but you could be less of a dick.

1. I'm impressed you found us!
2. Thanks for making content for true hoopers to watch and digest. Glad if it's gotten some views.
3. I considered saying "sorry if I came across as a dick," but instead have decided to say "my friend, it is the internet."
4. I hope you've continued to produce videos if it gives you pleasure. I know the Pacers have dedicated fans!
5. Hope Hali gets better soon, and looking forward to the next BOS/IND game.

He's also playing better lately. Hustle, boards, an occasional dunk and an occasional 3 is about all he needs to do to soak up a few minutes in the playoffs. I'm still not sure we'll ever find out if Stevens is better than him, but at least Brissett is helping out there now.

He's definitely in the conversation. Someone on like the Knicks, Clippers or Pacers would probably be in the conversation too.

And to think, in the preseason lots of people were saying we had no bench, that nobody was any good after our top 7 or 8 guys..
