All of these regular season accomplishments will make winning 18 even sweeter. But not winning may be the most painful as well. That is waiting for us on the other side..

By the end of the season, they will be one of the greatest teams of all time or one of the greatest chokers of all time. At this point there is little room for anything else barring a significant injury to one of their stars. Embrace the ride and hope for the best!

The anticipation for the Playoffs is the worst. We've seen what we need to in the regular season already. Wish we could fast forward this **** lol

If the Celtics win all their remaining home games they will be NBA champions. They are 32-3 at home this season.

In 426 non garbage time possessions without Tatum or Jaylen on the court, the team has a +21.4 net rating.

There’s some fun stuff when looking at the lineup combos, it’s unlike anything I’ve ever seen.

pretty sure we all know that playoffs is a different animal! Curious to know who everyone would like to see? Looks like Philly, Miami or Indiana in rd 1, I can't see ATL or Chicago moving on as the 8 seed. Anyway you look at it, rd 1 is going to be a bigger test then anticipated. Don't get cocky with regular season records lol! Ask the Bucks how regular season champs do in rd 1

This may be the year I actually don't mind Miami as much. Philly is a close second. I don't think Embiid is going to be anywhere near in shape by the time he returns. Play-in will be interesting with that in mind, though. Miami damn near didn't even make the playoffs last year because of the play in, so you never know.

Yep - one game, you never know.

People seem to forget that Chicago was up on Miami in the play-in with less than 3 minutes left in the game.

Miami deserves all the credit in the world for going from that to getting to the Finals, but with a couple misses or makes going the other way, they could have missed the playoffs altogether. With Miami, I wouldn't be surprised if they lost in the play-in, and I also wouldn't be surprised if they got hot again and made a run like last season.

Addendum, per game playoff stats from 2019-20 to last season
"HIMmy" Butler: 24.7pts, 6.8rbs, 5.7ast, 1.9stl, 0.6blk, +0.8, 58.1% TS
"Playoff choker" Tatum: 26.5pts, 8.6rbs, 5.5ast, 1.1stl, 1.1blk, +3.3, 57.1% TS

This is the year to take all comers - Miami, Indiana, Philly, Milwaukee on the way to the Finals!!

I have never believed in playoff matches. If you are NBA Champions then you beat whoever is in front of you.

That's what I'm thinking. Eddie House alluded to it, on a Broadcast.
Doesn't matter who we get. = Just beat them all, 4 Games at a time.

Philly, Orlando and Miami would be the ideal set of opponents.

Honestly a good decision by them. Unless Mazzulla rests everyone.

Would someone please blackmail or otherwise force me into not watching NBA Today? I know I hate it but I keep watching it. It's not healthy.

Instead of saying something nice about our 9 game winning streak and clinching the East they just did a segment about whether the Celtics should blow it up if they fail to win a championship "yet again."
