I've seen the ending of last night's game way too many times since 2018 to believe that the J's can lead us to the promised land. Somehow a switch goes off in their heads and they revert to grade school basketball-- or even worse, AAU-style hero ball.
Maybe our backcourt pulls us through, but if it doesn't, I'm through being patient with those two.
Half of me is WiTH you ! I keep wondering HOW and WhY we keep seeing the ending of Monday's game... 08' Cs and KG would NeVER allow this type kind of game, def not MuLTIPLE X !!!
The other half keeps saying that KG and the '08 Cs were HUNTERS (coming off a 25 win season) and not the hunted...
'24 Cs get everyone's best game, Teams also know how we default to auto-pilot if we go up big early. Teams NeVER pack it in against us... PLUS, the regular season is already OVER for our guys.
This massive-blown-lead phenomenon is on Joe and the Jays... a HC needs to step in to handle these EMORMOUS PROLONGED momentum shifts ! And the Jays need to do more to SNATCH it BACK...
That said, it makes way more sense to replace Joe before thinking about breaking up Jays...
Late-game execution has been a problem over the past few seasons, but has gotten ALoT better this season ! Right now, these games are hard for our guys to stay motivated.
I can easily see it all coming together under PO intensity and spotlight, but until we finally see it and hoist the LO'B Trophy, we will keep seeing ghosts and waiting for other shoe to inevitably DRoP
Joe will be gone WAY before the Jays...
