There is no rule that JT or JB has to take the final shot. None at all. You've got Jrue shooting 44.6% from three (who already has a title). You've got White who is a three-level scorer that makes great decisions (and who actually hit one of the most memorable game-ending shots in the last decade). You've got Hauser who is lethal with very little space. You can do so many more things.
We have the most unimaginative last minute sets and actions imaginable.
