I’m totally fine with someone from Boston Kurt Rambising someone in game 2

We need somebody to make a statement like when Jokic knocked out Markieff.

Redick and the broadcast crew said the starters need to get used to playing a lot of minutes again.

That's why Joe put them back in.

Let's not forget the starters haven't played for more than a week.

Instead of taking out our starters, Heat have a chance to hurt them.

I felt like the whole reason the game got (remotely) close was because Joe left the starters in during what was effectively garbage time and they were in an awkward spot where it felt like the priority was to preserve energy and not pile it on. Leaving our starters in also meant that the Heat left their starters in. I put that on Joe.

Did he really have a choice. Look at the box score. WTF is Tatum doing with 41 Minutes in a laugher. The only way that happens if your star player forces it. Now maybe someone should tell him No but that usually never good for the coach at this point.

That's BS to me. Other team waves the white flag first. All starters needed to do is hold to on the lead a couple more minutes. Spo/Heat won't quit/stop playing. They have nothing to lose.

The choice was to play the bench and have them to at least 1-15 in the final 4 minutes, which I'm confident they could've done.

We didn't use our bench at all last year. 40 points from the bench today.

It was a 32-point lead with a full quarter to go. Heat chipped into the lead next 7 minutes or so. You can't pull starters off during that time with momentum Heat's way. The response should've been for JT and the starters to wake the **** up and shut the run down. Then they could rest.

I was ready to bring out the pitchforks on Martin too but looking at the replay it looked like Jrue shoved Martin who in turn hit JT hard. One of the angles showed a better view and it shows Jrue was responsible for Martin jumping sideways on that play.

Jrue did not cause martin to hit tatum. He hardly touched him.

Martin took the opportunity to try and take tatum out, which historically, is Miami's MO. Take every chance you can to injure another teams player

Watch the sequence again. Martin was running toward the basket and his trajectory changed because of Jrue. I get it. We all hate Miami and their "culture". But this is one instance where I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt. Bam on the other hand, i think he's dirty AF.

I agree, Jrue didn't "shove him" but he gave him a little hand check to knock him off his line because he was charging in for the offensive rebound attempt. It's the playoffs, it's physical. Martin was reckless because that's Miami culture more than anything, play hard and play reckless and play physical and make the other team uncomfortable, and the recklessness combined with the check put him off balance. I don't think it was intentional. I still feel like the recklessness in a game that's decided isn't necessary but I also don't blame them, they got blown out and there are 3 games to go. I can't slight someone for playing as hard as they can.
