Tatum is shooting .583 from inside the arc and getting to the line 8 times per game. He's getting 82% of his points from the two-point range or the line.

and missing open layups, and possible and1’s. A little bump and he just throws the ball. At least JB can finish through contact. With that, i still prefer JT to continue to attack inside than settle for that 3.

Its because JT doesn’t have anything in his bag, other than get hot from 3, which could be every other game. He can’t really beat his man off the dribble. Doesn’t have the best mid range, and is really not that great at finishing at the rim. Handles and passing ability are average, and add to that a weak ass mentality.

With all that you said, where do you rank JT ? If he is unable to deliver a championship to Boston while in his prime, what do you do with him ?

On the all time celtics, definitely behind Pierce. If he delivers one, i have him above. When it comes to the best players in the league right now, i have him around 7th, below Jokic, Giannis, Embiid, luka, SGA, Edwards. If we don’t win the next 2 years, then we better trade JAylen for a much better fit.

Yeah, I agree with that, but if he chokes in these playoffs his stock will fall down massivley. I just don't trust the kid. He is who he is, but I always knee he is not that tier 1 superstar that many believe he is.

This is a good sign because every time Jayson Tatum is being doubted, he responds in a big way.

Just like before Game 1, there was talk about Tatum not being consistent, soft, doesn't have the mentality, etc.

JT then responded by getting first career playoff triple-double in Game 1.

I'm now more confident that JT will play well in Miami and the Celtics will win both Games 3 and 4.

Sometimes you need all the help you can get.

Brown is a better finisher despite consistently having a lower FG% at the rim while facing less defensive attention. Makes total sense.

Yeah Jaylen's been really good at finishing at the rim so far, with a stellar 77.8% on shots taken 0-3 feet from the basket.
Tatum? He's shooting 87.5% on those.

Tatum is a good but not great offensive player. He is probably best suited as the second best player on a championship team. We're trying to make the young man into something he's not. He's on the Paul Pierce trajectory. The Celtics need an alpha to pair up with Tatum who is a jack of all trades.

I think Dame just injured himself. Bucks season might be over.

Dame seems to be okay. He came back in the game. Stop overreacting, people. Indy lead down to 13.

I think Andre Jackson tried to knee Aaron Nesmith in the nuts as he dribbled by him...looked like he got called out by Pat Bev of all teammates...no flagrant, no T tho.

When Jackson stole the inbounds thereafter, might have been clean.

But a few plays later, pretty sure that was a bad goaltend on Jackson's behalf, no whistle.

Like seriously, everyone was fawning over this, that's not a goaltend? If anything, not sure it had a chance of going in.

I'm kinda sick of this Katie Clark person. She didn't even win.

Hubie Brown, still going strong at 90 years old.
