In this game, they shot 53.5%.

It's just a case of the Heat playing above their capability.

Joe had this same game plan in Game 1 and the Cs won by 20.

You take the good with the bad with this Celtics team.

I keep saying that this Celtics team has a higher % of winning it all next season.

So something like this doesn't surprise me anymore.

It's just so hilarious that some here keep saying Joe is a bad coach and yet they expect the Cs to win a championship this year.

I'll say it again, if the coach is bad, the Celtics can't execute in the clutch, and Tatum is inconsistent or not an alpha, why in the world are you guys expecting the Cs to win a championship?

And why do you think the Heat shot insanely well from 3 tonight? Could it be because the Cs forgot to play defense, and no adjustments happened in-game?

The philosophy is to not change what's been successful just because of one game.

If this trend continues in Games 3 and 4 then this is now on Joe.

It's about the series, not just one game.

Just like in Game 1, Spo never made any adjustments, in game, that's why the Cs continued to make 3s.

So it's Joe's turn now to make an adjustment for Games 3 and 4.

Tatum was standing in the corner late in the game while they were tying to force the ball into KP, who was having the worst game of his life, only for KP to turn it over.

Tatum pouts, slams the ball. Soft layup attempts, when it comes to midrange he bricks them badly almost shattering the backboard.

Jaylen Brown? Just hack brown late in the game, at best you’ll see him make 1 free throw out of 2.

Jrue holiday? Continues to wet the bed all his playoff career.

Only Derrick white plays like himself in the 4th quarter. Everyone else is pissing their shorts.

Just look at Denver yesterday, they went flawless in the clutch. Lakers were good but not great late. But these Celtics in a close game? Complete ass, panic basketball, no killer instinct from any player wanting the ball and taking a shot with confidence

There is no denying they are soft but coaching matters a lot. Get Dan Hurley to coach these guys and he is probably certain to go to the finals and win it all with this roster.

But you have to give it time.

Rookie coaches are just like rookie players.

Cs gave up too early on Billups and Joe Johnson and they turned out be stars on other teams.

Joe will be given up to next season.

If the Cs still don't win Banner 18 in 2025, Joe will be gone.

There is a process to all of this.
