Heat Scorch C's From 3! Game 2 Loss vs MIA 4/24 (Series tied 1-1)

Bloody hell you guys that wasn't it!

I dunno man I'm mad but I'm not sure how mad I should be. Heat were lights out from 3 and set a franchise record and part of me thinks they would have beaten anyone tonight and it was just one of those things.

But the other part wishes we'd raised our intensity, closed out to shooters harder and done more to wrestle control of the game. And it would have cool if we'd made more 3's ourselves. Unusually quiet night from KP and a few of our other guys too. Celtics weren't awful tonight but they definitely could have been a lot better.

So yeah, that sucked and the Heat are annoying as all hell and the internet and TV are going to be unpleasant for a couple days lol. But those Miami goons probably aren't going to shoot 54% from 3 for the rest of the series and it's not like they blew us out. So I think we're just fine. Next game = payback!

Heat had their best shooting game of the season while the Celtics were sub-par.

I could not believe the laziness of SO MANY CELTIC PLAYERS to defend hot shooting (53.5% from 3) Heat players. Pitiful. No will, No determination, WAY TOO MANY OPEN SHOTS by Heat 3 point shooters. Lack of concentration and lack of effort and NO friggin will to deny. If you're that lackadaisical, you deserve to lose.

Porzinigs hands suck. He can't grab a rebound that's contested or even a toss into the paint. Man, pisses me off when a starter has lousy hands.

The Heat lineup tonight (minus Butler, Richardson and Rozier) was bigger than you might think and presented numerous problems for the Celtics.

I can't believe clueless Joe couldn't design some DECENT LOOKS for Hauser and Pritchard (0 shot attempts, but Tatum and Brown don't even bother looking for him).

Celtics could really use a banger type at times with good hands. Got killed from 3 due to lazy defense and got pushed around inside.

Spo is obviously in a different stratosphere than Joe but all you have do is switch the perimeter with the right personnel and this Heat team cannot beat us. Raining threes is the ONLY way they have a chance.

Jrue and KP were also awful, separately from that.

It's like my game 7PTSD all over again.. But at least they had Jimmy Butler.. To lose fitness team with this current roster is beyond anything I have ever seen in my **** life.

This is EXACTLY what I predicted with this team - with JT not having enough dawg, 7 flawed, overal crap from our other starters including the worst game of Zinger’s life, & a moron for a coach.

We got out-mathed. 33-pt advantage from 3 is VERY hard to overcome. Heat knew what they wanted to do coming in and got it done.

Been posting this late in the season:
Celtics when 40% or less of their FGAs are from 3: 8-6
Celtics when taking more than 40% of their FGAs from 3: 56-12

Heat got us in the sweet spot. Chased us off the three-point line, stayed on our shooters, and let us play iso ball from 2-pt range.

This is on coaching. For a team who needed to get up threes get so many wide open an entire night is embarrassing. Celtics offense wasn't great...merely good. They let a bad Heat offense play great..unacceptable.
