Would still be pathetic. They should absolutely win both games in a big way and come to Boston to close it out. The idea of having to win a game in Miami to not go down 3-1 though is bizarre.

All though I think losing either game would be sad, I think game 3 would be unacceptable level sad. Considering the series is tied 1-1. Losing game 4 would feel similar to me as losing game 2. Losing game 3 right after a loss at home to this miami team is so unfathomable to me.
All that being said, I think we win the next 3.

Or they brought him back because they really see the potential in him as a coach and they're not gonna just give up on him after 1 season where we came within 1 game of the NBA finals, had best net rating in the league, 2nd best record in league, Tatum sprained his ankle on the 1st play of game 7, Miami had the luckiest shooting series of all time and Joe had no offseason to prepare for being coach, had to coach with Ime's guys as assistants and the top assistant left to take a college job right before the playoffs so we gotta give him at least one season where he can actually prepare for being the HC and has some assistants that he actually hired?
