Well I always liked watching Jim Edmonds,but I'd probley have to go with Andruw Jones now.

Andruw Jones is the most overrated CF in baseball ... he's a great defensive CF'er don't get me wrong but I hate it when people say he makes everything looks so easy .... the only reason he does that is because he always shows off, plays non chalant, and hot dogs it a lot.

Give me Carlos Beltran any day of the week.

Nobody covers CF better than Andruw. I've never seen someone so reliable in the OF. It appears he plays nonchalant because it's so easy for him, but he lays out for as many catches as anyone. He's been called the best CF ever by people in baseball (Bobby Cox and Willie Mays come to mind) and it's not because of reputation.

Of course only a Mets fan would say Beltran is a better CF.

LoL...no, but hes pretty damn good and should make the list over a guy like rowand who i think is overrated in this department. kotsay's just never healthy so i guess you could factor that in.

its anDRUW though. the reason why he makes everything look easy is cuz his intsincts are so great. he reads the ball perfectly off the bat, gets a great jump on the ball and breaks directly to the ball. its his ability to read the ball off the bat that allows him to coast to certain balls that other CF's like rowand would have to hustle after. rowand makes some terrible reads off the bat but he makes up for it with hustle and determination. the guy is completely wreckless though. if he had better insincts he wouldnt have to put hisself or the other OF's in as much danger as he does. oh yeah and rowands arm sucks.
