Jazz Trade Proposal

Post#1 » by blackham9258 » Tue May 15, 2012 12:36 pm

What would it take to get you guys to allow us to sign Eric Gordon without matching? If we offer Paul Millsap and our GSW pick would that do it? Paul is a borderline Allstar and was widely considered the #2 snub this year after Pau Gasol. He was #19 in PER ahead of Deron Williams, Pau Gasol, Carmelo Anthony, James Harden etc.

Anyway, just wondering how hard you are going to work to keep Eric. I am also interested to know at what point you don't match a loaded contract.

#1 just like BLT said, theres a big chance that the GSW pick will stay with them

#2 Millsap will be an expiring this year, so unless he signs an extension, we are looking at a 1 year rental

#3 we also have a logjam at PF, Landry said he loves to stay, Smith proved he can ball, Ayon has potential and is still adjusting to the NBA style of play. and Aminu might be more suited as a PF rather than a SF. add the fact that the Hornets are really high on TRob.

about your other question, majority of the fans wants our FO to match ANY offer EJ gets. yes thats a risk, but letting him go for nothing is worse than having to overpay for him
