NO / Bos trade idea

Bass and Bradley
for
Okafor and #10
Why:
NO clears 6 mil next years cap, and 7 mil off the following year, plus get two quality role players in Bass and Bradley.
Boston gets a 4/5 who can help Garnett in the middle, and they start their rebuilding w/ the 10, 21, and 22 picks.

Draft buzz: Hearing that teams calling Hornets being told that it'll take more to get No. 10 pick than taking on Ariza or Okafor contract

2 possible starters IS more than just taking Okafors contract off their hands.

What position does Bradley play? SG? I guess you could say they're possible starters but I think the Hornets are keeping Gordon so he wouldn't start over Gordon. And Bass isn't starting over Davis or Emeka.

But, I don't know exactly what the Hornets would be looking for.

I like the deal from no perspective. Really lengthens your lineup and you get flexibility for next year. I'd do it

Celts fan here. I get what you mean about Bradley and Bass not being starters (for you guys), but Bradley probably is for us, and given how much improvement he's shown in the last season, it would take more to get him. Probably an unreasonable amount, actually, given he's got a lot still to prove, but I think people are excited about him and Rondo at the defensive end, and in transition.

Plus, you might end up with a dodgy contract, since Bass is S&T...
