I'm jealous guys...

Post#1 » by tmac4real » Tue May 6, 2008 4:57 am

Lebron...WHO? Dwight...WHO? Kobe...WHOOOOOOOOOOO?

this talent you got here, his name is Chris Paul. The guy plays flawless basketball. He's only 22 and barely makes any mistakes. Smart shots, smart passes, smart decisons all over.

People talk about his points, assists, how entertaining he is.

The thing that really boggles my mind, especially in the playoffs this year, he's shooting 12 assists per game, handles the ball 90% of the time, and is averaging 1.33 turnovers a game.

1.33?????? That's bench player 20 mpg type stuff.

Any star player, Lebron, Kobe, Nash, all average 3+.

I need a team to follow and root for since Houston is out of the playoffs, I hope you guys don't mind me hopping on the bandwagon. :)

Not jumping on CP's bandwagon yet because Jwill and Steve Nash-- current favorites are not yet retired. But you know i'll be here soon :D

<<<---- addicted to passfirst points, obviously.

^ No need to be technical about it, we know Paul's mindset, he wants to pass first, it so happens he needs to takes MOST of the shots these days. And we are not whining :D

You are the good kind of jealous. There is also the bitter jealous, lots of those floating about.

Paul is amazing. Paul and Williams have been the two best point guards this season...it's a joke for steve nash to be considered a "star" and not either of these two...

Paul is another kind of awesome. To be up on the Spurs 2-0 the first time in the playoffs as the distant first option on your team is nothing short of incredible. If he wins this series, i'd be at a loss of words. If he wins your team and city a championship that would be one of the biggest cinderellas in NBA history in my opinion even though you were the no.2 seed in the west.

Don't mean to toot our horn, but has anyone realized how not surprised us Hornets fans are about how good Chris has become?

Tooting your horn indeed. Honestly, did you expect he was going to be this good (no, great) at this time? This early? i think not...

i'm a player fan so i bounce around a lot, my plan was to jump ship when CP3 is on his prime (and as i've mentioned i still have two old guys to cheer for). But goddammmnit Chris, not in in the 4th year of your career!

best PG in the league, and one of the best PG's in history are different things lol. I'd honestly rank these season up there as better than almost anyone's but Magic.

When Chris raises his game to new levels, we are obligated to raise Deron's figurative level too, or Jazz fans get suicidally butt hurt.
