pablo sandoval fractures his hamate bone in his left wrist, apparently it's a fracture that requires surgery. he fractured his right wrist's hamate bone last year and needed 6 weeks on the dl after surgery.

Damn. I was getting smashed in my super competitive league, but then Braun went down and now Sandoval. If Cargo goes down soon, I'll hopefully keep my 7-3 lead.

my team has just completely fallen apart this week. so damn disappointing.

Mariano Rivera suffered an apparent right knee injury while shagging fly balls during batting practice today in Kansas City. MLB.com's Bryan Hoch has the details about the injury, which has been initially diagnosed as a twisted knee, though Rivera will undergo an MRI tonight.
