Yahoo 6X6 ROTO Leagues - $150, $300, & $400 (LEAGUESAFE)

Post#21 » by gfriley » Mon Feb 18, 2013 1:58 pm

I have three 6x6 ROTO leagues available right now a $150, $300 & $400 buy in league. All the leagues are exactly the same they just have different buy-ins. The top 4 teams in each league are paid out. The links to join these leagues are below -

$150 League (Sunday 3/24 at 9:30 pm EST) - http://baseball.fantasysports.yahoo.com ... l&.scrumb=

League ID - 61038
password - baseball

$300 League (Tuesday 3/26 at 7:00 pm EST) - http://baseball.fantasysports.yahoo.com ... l&.scrumb=

League ID - 64838
password - baseball

$400 League (Thursday 3/28 at 8:30 pm EST) (2 teams in ONLY 10 OPEN SPOTS LEFT) - http://baseball.fantasysports.yahoo.com ... l&.scrumb=

League ID - 21607
password - baseball

You can check out all the league info before you officially sign-up when you follow these links. There you will see the league set-up and scoring. The only thing that will be different is the leagues say these are 20 team leagues. They will only be 12 team leagues. When I set-up these leagues I have them open to 20 teams but only the first 12 teams to pay are in. So these will only be 12 team leagues. If you have any other questions just email me back at gfriley@aol.com.

Payouts will be made - I can supply screenshots from past leagues where the winners have conformed they received payment and they had no problems or issues. This will help prove that payouts will be made and you will get your money if you win any at the end of the year. Payment will be made through Leaguesafe.com

Hey all, Milwaukee Bucks and Brewers poster here.

I see many looking for a keeper league to join. I'm the commish of a FREE Yahoo league for the past 7 years. It's a 16 team head to head league with 8 pitching and 8 hitting categories.

It's a keeper league with mild keeper rules. If interested I will reference my thread on the Brewers board.

Greetings Fantasy Baseball fanatics!

I'm looking to either start or participate in a PureSim Baseball 5 league. The sim engine is produced by Wolverine Studios and is said to be the most realistic simulation out there!

I am in the process of viewing the demo and it looks legit. I would like to gauge the interest here in members. If I can get a reasonable amount of interest I will fully purchase the game and begin constructing a league.

Please view the game here: http://www.wolverinestudios.com/ps5.html

Leave interest & feedback. I'd be looking for co-commishes and forum moderators.

Thanks.

Braggin' Rights Dynasty 2013 - Year 1

Post#25 » by capoltorta » Tue Mar 12, 2013 12:00 am

Looking for 1 more team to fill up our dynasty baseball league. Very competitive, active league, full of members from here and other forums. Roto, 12 team league, free to join on Yahoo! This will be year 1 of the dynasty, so we're all on an even playing field. The settings, categories, and draft time are all up for debate as soon as we fill the league, but it will likely be around 10-12 keepers. So get it while you still can, so we can start talking settings.

Looking for 2 owners, for $50 6x6 H2H League.

Post#26 » by maseda17 » Tue Mar 12, 2013 3:43 pm

Hi Folks,

I have 2 openings for my 12 team non-keeper $50 buyin money league. We are entering our 5th season and need a couple replacement owners due to some folks joining the military etc.

We are a 6x6 head to head league with OPS and holds added. We have also replaced wins with Quality Starts. We also use a LF, CF, RF format as opposed to 3 OF.

Draft is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, March 24th at 2:30 PST/5:30 EST.

Payouts are as follows:

Best Regular Season Record: $150
Champion: $250
2nd Place: $150
3rd Place: $50

I have added an owner a couple years ago using the yahoo message board and I can refer you to him if you have any concerns about paying the entry fee. I accept paypal or you can mail the check, whatever is preferable.

Please email me at maseda17@gmail.com with any questions or respond to this thread.

your payout structure adds up to $650.

But your entry fees only come to $600?

Inquire within! 2 new members for MLB Dynasty League

Post#29 » by CFan21 » Thu Mar 14, 2013 12:20 am

Hello fantasy baseball enthusiasts, I'm the commissioner of the MLB Dynasty League, which is one of the longest running leagues on RealGM and is unlike any other league you've ever been in. I'm pleased to be able to offer the opportunity for two new members to join our ranks.

Unfortunately, a couple of our guys were ready to move on to their next challenge, so we've got space available for a couple of n00bs. Let me explain the concept first:

If you're unfamiliar with dynasty leagues, they're a bit similar to a keeper league, but instead of keeping a certain number of players, you hold onto your entire roster season-to-season. There are some fun advantages to this, as it allows you to balance having older, productive players, and collect young talent at the same time.

Oh yeah, we also have a minor league system. Each year we two drafts, a FA draft and a prospect draft. You are allowed to keep 10 players in your system at a time. They have to be called up once they lose prospect eligibility (130 ABs or 50 IP) and you can't swing players back and forth. Once you add them, they're up for good. I can go into more detail if any of that is unclear.

--

This is a Yahoo league, which we've had going for probably at least five years now. Here are the settings:

Teams: 12
Scoring Type: Head-to-Head
Player Universe: All baseball
Max Acquisitions for Entire Season: 100
Max Trades for Entire Season: 40
Trade Reject Time: 2
Trade End Date: August 18, 2013
Trade Review: Commissioner
Waiver Time: 1 day
Waiver Type: Continual rolling list
Waiver Mode: Standard
Can't Cut List Provider: Yahoo! Sports
Post Draft Players: Free Agents
Max Acquisitions per Week: No maximum
Min Innings Pitched: 25
Weekly Deadline: Daily - Tomorrow
Start Scoring on: Week 1
Playoffs: Week 23, 24 and 25 (6 teams)
Divisions: No
Make League Publicly Viewable: No

And the big ones...

This is a 10-cat league. I realize there are trendier stats out there, but this is the format we've been running with and since everyone keeps the same players year-to-year, it makes sense to keep them.

Batters Stat Categories: R / HR / RBIs / SB / AVG
Pitchers Stat Categories: W / SV / K / ERA / WHIP

And this what your roster will look like:

C -
1B -
2B -
SS -
3B -
OF -
OF -
OF -
UTIL -
UTIL -

SP -
SP -
SP -
RP -
RP -
P -
P -
P -

BENCH -
BENCH -
BENCH -

For the mathematically challenged, that's 25 roster spots, not including the two DL spots.

--

We're actually replacing three members, but already have another candidate for the third open spot. Two of the teams were bottom-feeders, but the third one was a contender with possibly the best combo of MLB roster and minor league system in the league. As a result, we'll be distributing the players through a dispersal draft, which will give you a chance to pick your own team and prospects. I'm actually anticipating that these teams will be competitive right away, so you won't have to spend a season or two as a cellar-dweller. Following are the two lists of players you'll be picking from (alphabetically, so as not to assign value on any of them). You'll notice several elite names on both lists. Plenty of good players/trade chips to start out with.

I thought it would be unfair to just give myself back a 3rd rounder, so the premise is that when a manager deems the value is better to pick up an asset instead of a player they'd take the pick.

As tempting as it would be to go from having by far the most desirable roster (and probably one of the most impressive 12-team dynasty rosters) to that I will have to kindly decline your offer. Good luck on finding a good owner and keeping the league alive though.
