Battle of the Sports Forums update

Post#1 » by OldNo7 » Tue May 8, 2007 12:21 am

I was asked to put a team together for RealGM to particpate in a battle league this year. The RealGM team consists of myself, Setterlund, Basketball Jesus and Bleeding Green.

We are competiting against Rotochamps (RC), Fantasy Baseball Cafe (FBC), Playmakers (FPM), and Rotokingdom (RK). You cant trade within the same team, each team has a trade rep, and the total points of the whole team decides the winner at the end. Here are the standings as of Monday evening.

1. FBC-UnderpantsGnomes 169.5
2. RC - RotoChamp2 141
3. RGM Cianfroccos 138 (BBJ)
4. RC - RotoChamp1 127
5. FBC-Linkin Prospectz 124.5
6. RK - RotoKing 121
7. RK - SethBeno 117
8. RC-releasepoint 108.5
9. RC- Machopr 104
10. FBC- the chosen one 102
11. RK - DAtaris17 101
12. RGM whosthebosh 97
12. FPM - kory_wiu 97
14. RK - Keg Rollers 92.5
15. FPM-Gdawg 90.5
16. FPM-Greco 89
17. RGM - Setterlund 78.5
18. RGM FTW 72 (Bleeding Green)
19. FBC - Super Pedantic 66.5
20. Team Deleted 63.5

Unfortunately I missed the first 3/4 of the draft and I think possibly the rest of the team missed a good portion as well. The teams look like this:

RGM - 385.5
FBC - 462.5
RC - 480.5
RK - 431.5
FPM - 340

So, a lot of work to do. Very deep league so its hard to get good value off the waiver. Just thought everyone would like to know about this league....or maybe not after the results
