Opening day

Post#1 » by 20swish » Mon Apr 2, 2007 3:03 am

Well it's here again.

O's will be opening the season at the twins Monday. Game is actually scheduled to be on ESPN2 at 7:05 pm (ET)

Things to watch

* Will the O's be ready for the great Santana?

*Will Bedard be able to make another step in becoming the kind of player he is capable of becoming?

* O's new bullpen

I'm really looking to see if Brian Roberts can get back on his All-Star track from yesteryear. Will that one season be the exception or the rule?

I'll be at the game. I'm really worried about Bedard shutting the Twins down, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Twins lose 1-2.

Nice solid hitting in the top of the 4th. Huff and Patterson with the big hits to put the O's up 3-2.

Bedard looking a little shaky though in the bottom of the 4th.

Yep O's just can't seem to get a easy inning.

Single, but Markakis guns out justin at the plate. Really nice job by bako holding onto the ball.

Man Bako ... nailed in the jaw, facemask flying and the ball held onto like a vise grip.

And like miller said, ol' man Rondell White with a hell of a catch down the line. Absolutely robbed Mora of at least a double.

Bedard getting hit with regularity so far this game.

Wow, Bedard could have asked for a worse start of the season.

Double after double after double. Bako is killing us as well.

Mora just having a tough day now. That 3rd strike call was BS, but hopefully he is able to put it behind him.
