Philly won 5-4. Defensive mistakes in the 4th, give Philly extra outs and they made us pay. Hitting 2 HRs and scoring 5 in the inning. Hech and Duvall HR late, but it was a little too late.

Philly wins 4-1. 3 game losing streak for the Braves. I don't know if they are tired or already looking ahead to the playoffs. Our pitching hasn't been good the past week or two. Fried's last 3 games have been bad, Teheran's last two games have been bad, Soroka 5 HRs allowed in last two starts and Keuchel's hot streak was ended by defensive blunders in the 4th inning of his last start.

Acuna is slumping and can't hit the fastball right now. He's hitting .219 in September and .214 in his last 7 games. Hopefully he isn't thinking about the 40/40 too much.

Notice to all Braves fans:

If the Phillies make the playoffs and face Atlanta, kiss your chances good by. They have the Braves number.
When the clinching game is "right there" and the home Braves can't, we all know what to expect. Only one
more regular season games left with them. Whew! Hope we don't see them again this year.

Folty's re-emergence is huge for Atl's playoff hopes. With Soroka and Keuchel, we have 2 pure pitchers without a great fastball. Folty adds the dominant stuff, and you need a guy like that in the postseason, imo. He's the Smoltz of the rotation.

He' kinda snuck back into a TOR role. At this point, I'm thinking he might be the guy to start in game 1 of the playoffs - though I'd still lean toward Soroka.
