Braves send 10 batters to the plate and score 7 runs off of Latos in the 1st inning. Markakis RBI single, back to back RBI dbls by Freeman and Bethancourt, C Johnson just missed a 3 run HR, gets and RBI dbl as the ball hit off the wall, Simmons 2 RBI single, EY RBI single. 39 pitches for Latos, Marlins going to their pen.

Wood let them load the bases with 0 outs. What followed was a K and double play. That has to break Miami's spirit.

Pierzinski hit a 2 run HR. That's the difference so far. 5 scoreless innings for Shelby in his debut.

Giancarlo Stanton went 1-9 in that series with 5 strikeouts!

Bullpen gave up 0 runs. Avilan, Jim Johnson, Cundiff, Martin, and the Grill Master were splendid.
